Cowboy Jacks "Plymouth Location" - Late Night Happy Hour Review

Inside of the Bar

Cheers!

Hope everyone had a great weekend; I know I did. I ventured out to an oldie but a goodie spot this past Saturday night.

The Spot: Cowboy Jacks in Plymouth.

Now, I've talked about CJ's on a number of different occasions on previous blogs. It is perfect for what it is: A place to get cheap drinks and food during happy hour. Trust me, I know.

Their happy hour runs from 3pm-6pm and again from 10pm-12pm every day of the week. It really can't be beat. Drinks will run you $2 for bottles and you call it's, that's right; $2. Almost all of the apps on the menu are half price; including their awesome Walleye fingers.

There is also usually some sort of live music. On this night it was a solo act playing a wide range of new and old country songs mixed in with some top 40 songs with a country twang.

There are peanuts galore, so if you have an allergy, stay away.

The bartenders are dressed in flannel shirts and daisy dukes; it is a country bar after all. The age range of the patrons is anywhere from 21-60; and that's awesome. You never know what type of conversation you will get into.

During the warmer months they open their patio. They have "bags" out there and a nice seating area so this place is usually the first to get crowded. The fire pit is a big hit as well.

In closing: I know this is a chain, but so is McDonalds. But you know what? People still go there. My point being, don't be scared off by the fact that Cowboy Jacks has locations all over the state; if anything, be happy about that fact.

It just means you are never far from a good time and cheap drinks.

Bottoms Up!
Ken
